I’m from a small town in the Sierra Nevadas called Strawberry, California, and I now live in Four Corners, Montana. I’m a professional alpine skier and part-time fisherman. I started skiing basically as soon as I could walk and have been on skis ever since. I’ve had the honor of representing the United States at the last two Winter Olympics and compete full-time on the World Cup circuit during the winter. I was raised in a small, blue-collar town where my parents worked endlessly to support my brothers and I and our dreams. Watching them work so hard instilled a strong work ethic in me that has helped me achieve so many of my athletic goals. Growing up in the mountains also gave me a deep love and respect for nature, along with a passion for fishing, hunting, and conserving the outdoors.
