I bought 2 of the recon w/ light holsters and 4 of the hitchhikers for the purpose of an Alaska fishing trip we have booked in August. As soon as I opened the box you could tell these things are made right. Anytime we’re out on the place I use my recon holster instead of my other iwb or owb for wheeling in East TX or boating they’re the absolute best and everyone I see comments on them. My wife isn’t big on chest holsters she’s 5’3” and 110lbs but has “aftermarket upgrades” that make most brands of chest holster miserable but she loves the fit of the recon

Unlike some other webbing-based chest rigs, the Invader Concepts Recon has just enough flex (on the center-back only) to provide comfort, but not so much that it becomes floppy with a pistol in place, especially if jogging.
I wanted a solid platform(OWB). There is a ton out there. Then I wanted the smallest footprint I could find. The Standard covered all the boxes and the retention screw is outstanding, I have others where the retention screw is either too lose or too tight, the retention screw actually works, can fine tune. Love it, I will get another for my VP9sk
