What’s up ladies and gents?! I’m Weston McArthur, owner of Rise and Shed. I’ve always grown up in the outdoors getting to enjoy hunting and fishing with a couple of my great mentors, right here in the state of Utah. Grew up always doing blue collar work and then one day, what started as a hobby is now my full time profession! I’ve been running RAS full time for 8 years now and I literally get to live out my dream, creating outdoor content for outdoor brands and myself.
Currently living in Pleasant Grove, Utah. I’m happily married (2014) to my beautiful wife Jess. Have a beautiful daughter named Meadow, who is 4. And baby boy who is due October of 2026.
My favorite product from Invader Concepts has to be the recon chest holster. That thing is comfortable and never leaves your body when you’re in the backcountry and I love that aspect.
