My name is Kyra Brown, born and raised in Washington, where I’ve been hunting and fishing for as long as I can remember. I grew up tagging along with my family and developed a love for the outdoors that has shaped who I am and the work I do today. I especially enjoy the challenge of high-country mule deer hunts and the adrenaline of predator hunting when the snow starts to fall. My favorite outdoor activity will always be shed hunting! Specifically for elk.
What inspires me most is the outdoors and the opportunity to connect with others through it. Being outside keeps me grounded and reminds me how small we really are, in the best way. My biggest area of expertise is being in the field — patience, persistence, and embracing whatever adventure comes with it.
One thing people might be surprised to learn is that I’ve been farming since I was 16. So I am always outdoors.
